WELSH FREE RANGE CHICKEN & DUCK

Martin Player's free range chicken and ducks comes from the Lloyd family farm at Cilshafe Isaf in the foothills of the Preseli Mountains, overlooking Pembrokeshire's beautiful Fishguard Bay. The Farm Fresh Free Range Chickens and ducks are reared with love and care for more than twice as long as mass produced birds. This slow growth, quality of life and beautiful environment give the birds an outstandingly succulent texture and superior depth of flavour.

Martin and Danielle Lloyd, rear all the poultry themselves and prepare them for sale in their specially created on farm processing unit.
As they are responsible for the whole process of rearing, feeding cleaning and finishing the birds they have a high standard of care and a great pride in the end product.

WELSH FREE RANGE GEESE

Our Free Range Geese are supplied to us by Madgett's Farm, owned and run by husband and wife team, Daryn and Elaine Williams.
They are one of the largest producers of free range geese in the UK, and hatch and supply goslings to other goose producers.

Their geese are bred from our own breeding flock, and hatched, reared and processed on their farm, over-looking the Wye Valley.


Rearing - Hatched, Watered and Fed In Open Environments.

Growth - The birds are fed a natural diet, grown slowly to full maturity, creating fat marbling through out the meat, producing a concentrated flavour, for you to enjoy

Prepping - Highest Quality Dry-Plucked Geese And Oven Ready In Individual Boxes

We require a cash/card deposit of £20 to be paid in shop at time of ordering.


Orders made over the telephone can be made but will require a deposit by card payment of £50.00.

The reason phone ordering deposit is £50.00 is that due to Christmas orders being made over previous years and unfortunately not being collected. This does mean however that there will be less to pay on collection.

We regret that we cannot accept any orders by email.

We recommend that you allow 500g per person for your Christmas lunch for a cooked FRESH FREE RANGE CHICKEN and then allow extra on top for your cold cuts depending on how much you enjoy eating cold turkey after Christmas Day.

For a FRESH FREE RANGE DUCK or GOOSE allow at least 750g per person.
