The Fruit Pig Company are an East Anglian-based wholesale butchery producing traditional, hearty fresh blood black puddings, white puddings and haggis from traditional breeds. They supply the likes of Tom Aikens and Tom Kerridge, Harrods and Fortnum & Mason.

The black pudding has an amazing flavour and is made with a mix of fresh blood, British oats and barley, British pork fat, onions and spices, their black pudding is incomparable to mass-produced, dried blood versions.

There is no wheat, maize, dairy, chilli, nitrite, nitrate or sulphate in our black pudding.

Our ingredient salt contains E535 anti-caking agent.

The White pudding is another perfect breakfast accompaniment. Oats, smoked bacon fat, fresh red onion, cumin and spices come together in this flavoursome sliced white pudding. Fruit Pig's white pudding is like no white pudding out there. Once cooked, cut in half and place next to half a slice of our black pudding...hey, presto! Yin-yang breakfast.

HAGGIS NOW IN STOCK FOR BURNS NIGHT

A haggis is not just for January and the Bard. Slow cooked, a Fruit Pig Haggis is rich and much meatier than many of the more commercial varieties.....bootiful!

Cooking: Pre-heat oven to 150 degrees C, leave in its casing remove any Fruit Pig label packaging from the haggis. Wrap in foil and place in a spacious roasting dish (smaller oven proof dish if just cooking a chubb). Pour in boiling water to 2-3cm deep. Cook until piping hot in the middle

Chubbs - 60 mins,
1.25kg sticks for 90 mins,
Chieftain 120 mins.
Quickly check water level every 40 mins and refill with boiling water as necessary...if in doubt add some!

Serving: If cutting up "wi ready slight", be careful of bursting hot juices near exposed faces. Make sure the metal clips are removed before serving.

Cooked Lamb lungs and hearts, beef suet, OATS, BARLEY, onions, salt and spices.
